Current status DPR under Preparation. Alignment can be finalized only after getting in principle approval of GAD from Railways. Project was pending due to Semi High Speed Rail project of KRDCL. On 06.12.2022, KRDCL had informed to go ahead with the construction of ROBs without considering the silver line alignment and RBDCK intimated the same to Railways on 08.12.2022. But Railway authorities has removed the work from Railway Work programme. Since the work was included in the KIIFB funding, RBDCK has requested Gok to instruct Railway Authorities to include the work in Railway Work Programme. Hence the work was included in the Railway Work Programme 2023-2024. Appointed consultancy for DPR preparation. Concept Report submitted on 30.01.2024. Requested MLA Kozhikkode North for a convenient date to discuss the Alignment provisions.
